LaRue 72 Hour Release Status
LaRue County does not provide a verified rolling 72-hour release view. Its Current Inmates roster answers whether a person appears in custody now. It does not state which people left over the prior three days, how often a released row is removed, or how long booking details remain public.
A three-day check is therefore a records comparison, not a feed. Someone who vanished from the roster during that span may have posted bond, completed a sentence, obtained a court release, transferred to another jail, or left under another agency's hold. The custody event and the destination are separate facts. A release record should name the date, time, authority, and disposition rather than invite a guess from the roster.
Check LaRue Three-Day Releases
Choose three calendar dates, not merely three links on an archive page. The county side and state side must then be reviewed separately. A local detainee's release may be documented only by the jail and court. A Kentucky DOC-controlled person housed at LaRue County Detention Center may also appear in the state's dated Daily Releases reports.
- Review the Current Inmates roster to learn only whether the person is listed at the time of the check.
- Call LaRue County Detention Center at 270-358-9876 and request the records procedure for the three-day date range.
- Inspect the District or Circuit Court case for bond, dismissal, probation, sentencing, or revocation entries that changed custody.
- Check VINE for a status event or notification tied to the person.
- For state custody, open each applicable DOC Daily Releases report and search “Larue County Detention Center” in the Released From column.
Ask for an existing booking and release record. Include the full name, date of birth when appropriate, and the narrow date range. A request for the recorded release date, time, authority, and disposition is more precise than asking an agency to decide if someone is now free. For today's narrower review, use the LaRue County released last 24 hours process.
LaRue 72 Hour Record Fields
There is no county three-day results table to quote. The field set below describes what should be gathered across the jail record, court file, and state report when applicable. A field's absence from one source does not mean the event did not occur.
| Field | What it establishes |
|---|---|
| Person and booking number | Connects the event to a particular local confinement. |
| Actual date and time | Places the end of the named agency's custody within the three-day range. |
| Authority or court event | Links the physical release to bond, an order, sentence completion, or a corrections action. |
| Release type | Records the source's exact term, such as bond, discharge, supervision, shock probation, or court order. |
| Released from | Identifies the facility whose custody ended. |
| Transfer or detainer | Warns that the person may have moved directly to another custodian. |
A discharge is a sentence-status event. Parole or mandatory reentry supervision allows physical release while legal supervision continues. Shock probation follows court action after confinement. When a report says discharge with a detainer, it does not establish that the person returned to LaRue County.
LaRue Weekend Release Review
The three-day range helps when a court event, jail update, VINE notice, and state report do not appear at the same time. Weekend and holiday schedules can also separate a custody event from the next business-day record posting. No local source promises that every system changes in lockstep.
Bond handling itself varies by schedule. During Circuit Court Clerk hours, payment goes to the clerk and the paperwork is taken to the detention center. After hours, on weekends, and on holidays, the jail accepts bond payment. LaRue's instructions say exact cash is required, the jail cannot make change, and cards are not accepted for bonds, fines, or costs. Payment starts a process; it is not the recorded release time.
The court file can show why custody was ordered to change. The jail record is still needed to show when staff carried out that order. If the person is no longer listed but no release record appears, check whether transfer or another hold explains the gap. A broader named-person search is set out on the LaRue County released inmates home page.
LaRue Three-Date DOC Check
The Kentucky DOC Daily Releases archive provides a durable date-by-date source for state-controlled offenders. To approximate a 72-hour review, open the report for each of the three calendar dates and search the Released From column for Larue County Detention Center. Each PDF includes DOC number, name, type of release, releasing facility, and highest felony class.
This is a manual three-report review. It is not a LaRue County 72-hour feed, and it does not cover every person who posted local bond or left after a county court event. Reports may follow business-day posting patterns. At least one archive link label has differed from the heading printed inside the PDF, so the internal report title should control. Check adjacent links if a date or expected entry appears inconsistent.
The image below comes from the official DOC archive and shows the dated structure used for this review.

Its long archive is valuable for state releases, but county and court records remain essential for local detainees.
LaRue Release Data Quirks
The county JailTracker row may include booking identifiers and a photograph while the person remains current. No reliable county statement sets a fixed after-release display period. Say only that a live row may disappear after custody ends. The records custodian may retain a booking sheet and photo even after the public interface changes.
VINE has a different purpose. LaRue's local material says the service connects to the jail booking system every 15 minutes. Kentucky guidance describes repeated jail-release calls after an event reaches the system. These are alert mechanics, not a 72-hour public archive. A delayed alert, an absent roster row, and an unposted report are reasons to cross-check, not reasons to assign a release date.
Note: Use the date printed within a DOC report and confirm the event against KOOL or the originating record.
LaRue Release Record Fallback
When no online item resolves the three-day inquiry, call the detention center and request the custodian's process. Then compare the response with the court case. VINE can supply notice of a custody change, but it is not a certified discharge record. KOOL and Daily Releases belong only in the path for a Kentucky state offender.
Older local records may remain available even when the public roster no longer displays the booking. Court records often provide a durable path back to a case number, judgment, sentence, bond order, or dismissal. From there, identify whether Kentucky DOC assumed control and request the jail record and DOC offender record separately if needed.
No verified LaRue sheriff or detention mobile app publishes a complete release or mugshot stream. Do not use a generic statewide app or another county's service as a substitute. The official browser roster, VINE, the detention center, the court, and state corrections records are the documented channels.
LaRue Release Versus Custody
A current roster entry means the person is listed in the jail's live system. A release record shows that a named custodian ended physical custody at a recorded time. Neither fact alone proves the person's broader legal status or next location.
- Release
- The end of one agency's physical custody, with the destination and legal status determined by the recorded disposition.
- Transfer
- Movement to another jail, prison, or agency. It is not community release.
- Detainer
- A hold or pickup request from another authority that may take effect when local custody ends.
- Supervision
- Parole, probation, or another status that continues legal oversight after confinement.
Use these distinctions when reading three days of records. They prevent an end to LaRue County custody from being described as an end to all custody, supervision, or court obligations.
