Verify LaRue County Supervision

LaRue County parole and probation records answer whether a released person remains under state or court supervision. Parole, probation, mandatory reentry supervision, and final discharge are different legal states, so a name missing from the county jail roster does not settle the question. To verify LaRue County post-release supervision, match the person in Kentucky corrections records, review the local criminal case, and confirm the office shown in the official record. A hearing entry can show that parole was considered, while a later release record shows whether the person actually left custody.

LaRue Parole and Probation Differences

Parole and probation can both place a person in the community under rules, but they begin through different decisions. The Kentucky Parole Board considers parole within its authority. The Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole supervises people after an approved release. Probation is imposed by a court, often instead of confinement or after part of a sentence. The LaRue criminal case therefore carries the controlling probation order.

Kentucky DOC reports use other labels too. “Shock Probation Began - In State” points back to a court order. Mandatory reentry supervision is a statutory release-to-supervision path, not discretionary parole. Exact wording matters because physical release does not always mean that all sentence duties ended.

Verify LaRue Post-Release Supervision

A sound check uses more than one system. Kentucky Online Offender Lookup, or KOOL, is the first route for a state-controlled person. A county detainee who never entered DOC control may have no KOOL record, so probation must also be checked in the LaRue court case. Match identifiers carefully and preserve the precise status shown.

  1. Search KOOL by name or offender identifier. Read status, current location, sentence information, parole history, and supervision location together.
  2. Check Kentucky DOC Daily Releases if the person recently left prison or was a state inmate housed at LaRue County Detention Center. A dated entry shows DOC processing, not every local bond release.
  3. For parole, compare the DOC number with the Parole Board eligibility list and hearing schedule. A hearing date proves review, not physical release.
  4. For probation, review the LaRue District or Circuit case for the judgment, probation order, later modification, or revocation event.
  5. Read the listed supervision location, then call the serving office to confirm routing. Do not assume a satellite office from county name alone.
  6. If final completion matters, request the discharge order or DOC record rather than treating an old web entry as proof.

The full county release search and local records path are covered on the LaRue County released inmates page. That route helps distinguish a jail departure from a transfer into state custody.

LaRue Supervision Through District 6

LaRue County is served through Kentucky DOC Probation and Parole District 6. The live district page lists a Danville office and a Bardstown satellite, but it does not assign each county to a satellite. An older official manual associated LaRue with Bardstown. That history is useful for routing, yet the person’s current KOOL supervision location and confirmation from the agency should control.

The regional structure adds another layer. The DOC Region 3 page includes LaRue with Green, Taylor, Marion, Nelson, Washington, Mercer, and Boyle counties. Its legacy URL contains “Region5,” but the page itself displays Region 3. Use the displayed agency name.

The official Region 3 source image shows the LaRue coverage and regional contact setting. It comes from the Kentucky DOC reentry page.

LaRue Supervision Violations and Warrants

Conditions are the rules in the person’s release or probation order. They may require reporting, compliance with court terms, or other conduct stated in that record. A violation allegation can lead to review, a warrant, revocation proceedings, or another official action. The exact order and later docket entries control.

Absconder status means the supervising agency alleges that a person stopped complying with required contact or location duties. It is not a label that can be inferred from a missed call, an old address, or a failure to find someone online. LaRue County has no verified local public parole-absconder list. Only KOOL, the supervising office, a court docket, or an agency warrant record can support that status.

VINE is a custody notification system, not a supervision compliance database. A release or transfer alert may help track a custody event, but it does not establish whether parole or probation conditions were later violated.

How LaRue Supervision Ends

Supervision ends through a formal discharge or expiration process. It does not end merely because the jail roster no longer shows the person or because a web result has not changed. Kentucky law addresses cessation and final discharge in KRS 439.348 and KRS 439.354 through 439.358 within KRS Chapter 439.

When the end date matters, request the discharge record from DOC or the controlling court order. A person discharged from supervision has a different status from someone released from confinement but still required to report. Kentucky public records may also contain redactions or restrictions, and an agency need not create a new explanation when no such record exists.

LaRue Parole Hearing Records

Kentucky Parole Board hearings occur weekly and begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Monthly schedules are updated on Monday mornings. Eligibility lists show the offender name, DOC number, location, and eligibility month, and a hearing may occur up to two months before that month. These are scheduling records, not release confirmations.

Use the DOC number from KOOL to avoid confusing people with similar names. Then open the relevant eligibility list and monthly schedule. Remote observation may be requested by emailing Paroleboard@ky.gov. In-person observers must contact the holding institution and follow its entry rules. File reviews cannot be observed, and observers do not speak during a hearing.

Afterward, KOOL’s parole-history table may show the hearing date, action, months deferred, next eligibility date, and proposed release date. “Parole Recommended” is favorable but is not proof the person left custody. “Deferred,” “Serve Out,” rescission, and revocation have distinct effects. Confirm actual departure with later KOOL status and the DOC Daily Releases report. If the needed final order is not online, request it from the Board’s records custodian.

The Board schedule sometimes links individual written decisions, but researchers found no complete public database that can be searched by a person’s name. Annual reports summarize recommendations, deferments, serve-outs, revocations, warrants, and other Board work only in aggregate. Neither source replaces the individual KOOL history or written order.

KRS 439.340 governs the Board’s parole authority, while KRS 439.3401 addresses violent-offender limits. The administrative definitions and review schedules appear in 501 KAR 1:030. Eligibility law can change and depends on the offense and controlling dates. Avoid applying one percentage to every person. The current statute, regulation, and case record must be read together.

LaRue Release Programs and Reentry

LaRue County Detention Center lists GED preparation, weekly NA and AA, church services, MRT/PORTALS New Directions, parenting, life-skills work, and state-inmate work details. Assignments include the jail kitchen, road crews, Hodgenville City Public Works, LaRue County Golf Course, other public property, and nonprofit work.

Those activities take place during custody. They show preparation options and work experience, but they do not prove that a released person remains enrolled in a service or has ongoing support. Post-release supervision and service referrals must be confirmed through the assigned officer or agency. The distinction prevents an old program listing from being treated as a current supervision condition.

LaRue Property After Release

The detention center publishes a firm property rule. Before release, an approved friend or family member may sign out property with the detained person’s signed authorization. All non-clothing property must be taken together. The facility property page says property left for 30 days after release will be destroyed without further notice.

This deadline is separate from parole or probation. The supervising office does not replace the jail as the source for property held at the facility. Contact the detention center promptly about the property-release form and do not assume that a supervision appointment extends the jail’s deadline.

The official facility image below records the published property procedure. Its source is the LaRue County Detention Center property page.
